Pastor Pat serves the congregation of FBC through Sunday preaching, daily prayer ministry, teaching adult classes, and co-leading the church with the Elders.
Vision for Ministry
"Being used of God to help His people grow — that's what my ministry is all about. I want to help people become constantly growing, passionate followers of Jesus Christ."
Pat and his wife, Diane, have four adult children. Pat enjoys music and theatre, cooking, and is an avid reader. Before entering ministry, Pat worked as a chef and as manager of a frozen entree plant. Prior to coming to Roseau in early 2002, he pastored two rural churches (9 years). Pat is a graduate of Augsburg College (B.Mus. in vocal performance) and Bethel Seminary (M.Div.).

Pastor Kevin's areas of oversight include youth and small group ministries within the church.
Vision for Ministry
If my living for Christ is to be real worship, it must cost me something. "Pilgrim's Progress" is acceptable — it cost Bunyan everything to write it. Michael Card will never get the long hours he spends touring back with his family. The touch of the Holy Spirit is on his concerts. God honors the sacrifice. It's different for each one of us. We all are called to offer "spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through the Lord Jesus" (1 Peter 2:5). The trial and error of obedience breaks the heart. The sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit, and with deeper cleansing comes deeper strengthening. I long to serve in Christ's strength.
Kevin and his wife Natasha have three children. They all play instruments, and aspire to be a "Salvation Army Band," even though there are bound to be some sour notes that make everybody wince. Prior to coming to Roseau in 2006, Kevin served as associate pastor at Edgewood Family Fellowship (formerly Edgewood Baptist Church) in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois (B.A. in Journalism) and Bethel Seminary (M.Div.).
