“For to us a child is born, to us a son
is given, and the government will be
on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the greatness of his government
and peace there is no end. He will
reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding
it with Justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of
the Lord Almighty will accomplish this.

Isaiah 9:6-7
Homemade Christmas
We’d LOVE to hear all the beautiful music and Bible passages you might be learning this season! The deadline to get on the Christmas program line-up is Sunday, Dec. 4. The program itself will be held at First Baptist on December 18 at 6:30 p.m. Bring some of your favorite cookies to share and join us after the program for fellowship, treats and gift giving.

Keep that oven warm and bake up some of those special cookies for your friends too! FBCYG will be hosting a “Christmas Cookie/Treat Exchange” as part of our group’s Christmas party on December 21. Instead of a white elephant gift, please bring 1-2 dozen of your favorite holiday treats, wrapped up sweetly in a single package, to exchange with a friend.

‘Tis the Season
Join us after school, December 7. We will serve the church once more by spending some time on various projects at FBC. Lunch will be served at noon.

If you have ideas of ways we can serve our church members and community, we would love to hear from you.

A Special Holiday Trip
Aaron Shust and Jason Gray are at Hope Church in Grand Forks for their “Christmas Stories Tour,” December 15 at 7:00 p.m. If any of you would like to attend, let us know! You can either catch a ride with us or make it a family outing and bring the whole crew! Head to www.gfhope.org and check out “events” for more information.

Just So You know . . .
No fundraiser will be held this month. Enjoy your December! Information for our next youth meal will be coming at you in January. We will be serving up two of our spectacular soups from our small group night again. Congrats to Karina, Annie, Wyatt and Levi for providing this year’s favorites.

Another change to note . . . Our previously scheduled “R.A.Y.E. Broomball” night has been moved to January 25.

Special Thanks
Thank you to those that support our crew whether it be through leadership, prayer, monetary & snack provisions, service work or in some other way, we deeply appreciate you.
