Wednesday nights are back! YAY!! WE can’t wait to get into the rhythm of it all again. If you are new here, WELCOME! These newsletters help to convey a lot of the information needed for our up and coming events. Any updates to this information will be posted in our FB & IG groups, so be sure to get connected with those.

YG Kickoff – Come and meet your leaders and dive into a bowl of ice cream with your favorite toppings!

SYATP — Calling all student prayer warriors! Join us for See You At The Pole on September 25. We’ll meet at the south side flagpole (the science wing door, along the highway) at RHS at 7:30 a.m. We’ll spend some time in prayer for our school and community.

Service Project — Join us at FBC for lunch at 12:30 p.m. We’ll be picking and washing pumpkins for the Pregnancy Care Center’s banquet until 3:00 p.m. Please be sure to dress accordingly!

Cornmaze — We will meet on the south side of the church and carpool to the maze. You’ll need to dress accordingly and bring $5 for entry. Family passes can be used, and concessions will be available for purchase. **Take note that we’ll  be back to FBC about 9 p.m.

Pregnancy Care Center Banquet — Volunteers are needed to help serve at this event. Volunteers will need to be to FBC by 5:30 p.m. and will need to wear black and white. 11th and 12th graders can earn NHS hours. Contact Barbara to get involved.

Underground Church — This is a great event hosted by United Free in Greenbush. Permission slips are needed and can be found on our youth board at church. If you need a ride, give us a call. Dinner will be served. You’ll want to dress in dark clothes that you can run and hide in.

Youth Meal — Our next youth meal will follow the service of October 27. Prep will be from 1-5 p.m. the day before. a signup for items needed and volunteer slots will be posted closer to the date of the meal. We’re looking at serving up ham, potato dumplings and corn!

“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God,
and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.
Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
In this the love of God was made manifest among us,
that God sent his only Son into the world,
so that we might live through him. In this is love,
not that we have loved God but that he loved us
and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
1 John 4:7-11
